We have on board faculty who are keenly academic in orientation, passionate about teaching and research and deeply interested in students. We are therefore able to generate a value based teaching program that works towards the future of each student. The job market now offers diverse opportunities in media, journalism, communication, content writing, school teaching, higher education and academic research, creative enterprise, etc. And students of English are often the chosen few who enter this market space with greater confidence and an edge over others. We, at the Post Graduate Department of English, are determined to present our students with every opportunity and exposure to diverse areas of study. In keeping with this vision we cover domains as wide ranging as: Literature from across the World, Critical Theory, Gender Studies, Multicultural Studies, Dalit Studies, Linguistics and Writing Skills, Post Colonial Studies and Literatures in Translation.
