Academic Support

The institution is interested to grow the student body in terms of their academic proficiencies. In order that this is acheived, the college provides the following:

Remedial Classes
Students who have the potential to improve and who have not performed to their optimal capacity in the previous internal tests are indetified by each deaprtment and urged to undertaken remedial classes run by the faculty across the semester. Each department scrutinzes the marks of classes and havinf identified these students prepares remedial plans to improve their scores and sharpen their skills such that their final performances in the university examinations shows evidence of the interventions made through the remedial classes.

Language Lab
The institution has established a well equipped Language Lab run by the English Department. The lab is in keeping with the college’s effoerts to cater to the overall skill development of the student community. It runs regular classes to build the language skills of those students who lack confidence and need individual guidance in their spoken and written communication.

Orientation Programs
At the beginning of every academic year and semester the first year students are addressed by the faculty and told about the rules and regulations of the college. They are given detailed instructions as regards the examinations and facilities of the college. Attendance is an issue that is of concern to the institution and the students are addressed as to its importance. They are urged to keep their attendance above 75% as per the Bangalore University.
